Peter and Juno will be tasked with retrieving a magnetic field generator. It is described as being a clear, cylindrical tube with rotating gears at the center, and though it is mostly inoperative, it has spontaneously activated at times in the past and altered the magnetic field around it.
Nurray theorizes that the generator has been hidden in a system of caverns full of metallic ores, as the shifting magnetic fields may move the ores around and block off the path. When investigating, they will find a compass of Nadril make that alternates between pointing north and pointing in the direction of the generator as the magnetic field activates. Magda's name is engraved on the back of it.
The magnetic field generator will be found at the innermost part the caverns. How the characters track it don and what they do to retrieve it is up to you; feel free to assume that any reasonable requests made for equipment to assist in retrieving it will be granted.
