LFG: Haru and Yona

Quests in General
So I've got both Haru Okumura and Princess Yona available for the quests that don't require signups for all of your general questing/CR-building needs. Both of them will be starting from Olympia; Haru's a part of the Royal Guard and won't be foraying too far into Wyver for that reason, but Yona is both willing and able to get up to shenanigans.

As far as combat abilities go, Haru's the better fighter. She's got an axe and a grenade launcher as well as access to her Persona, which uses mainly psychokinetic-based attacks.

Yona, on the other hand, is still learning how to fight! She got a bow and arrow set recently that she's been practicing with, but she's not as good at shooting as she'd be at later canon points. She has learned two spells - one to smooth down her hair and one to change the color of her hair at will, so she could possibly use those for disguises for infiltrations if you'd like!

A Blessed Entourage
I'm interested in signing up Haru as part of a group for this quest. (EDIT: Sorey and Diana Cavendish will also be a part of this group!) In the interest of not having to tab over to the other entry, here's the summary:

Taking advantage of the refugees' ability to move between Olympia and Wyver unbothered, for the most part, several supporters of the Temples have requested refugees to serve as a number of their bodyguards during trips to Wyver for "personal business." Through an anonymous message delivered to an acolyte familiar with these travelers, the Temples have learned that an attempt may be made on their lives while outside of Olympia - someone in the traveling group is a traitor. This is the only information available; the attacks could come anytime once the trips are underway. While on the surface this is a simple escort assignment, the Temples have asked the refugees to deal with any would-be assassins without alerting the nobles of the threat. Listen closely to your wealthy host, and you might hear something of interest...

Since signups are limited to 5 groups, I thought it'd be best to check here for interest in case anyone's also interested and looking for a group. So, here we are! Once we have a group in mind I'll be glad to sign us up/set up a log for it/stick a prompt in my catchall for the month, whatever's easiest for everyone involved.

We got a group sorted out for this, but I'm 100% down to plot things out for the quests that don't require signups if anyone wants!

Unsurprisingly, Koltira is most interested in the missions that might require some kind of combat. Specifically:

Strong Armory, Disturbing the Dead, A Blessed Entourage, and Preaching in a Material World. He's also interested in Blinded with Science, because he has a problem with bio-weapons (and he also kind of is a walking bio-weapon). In all cases, he's someone who will strong-arm his way through; in Disturbing the Dead, he is also spiritually sensitive (being a necromancer, more or less, as well as naturally aware of paranormal/magical shenans), which might be a help. He is not the type to solve problems with diplomacy, but he's great if you want someone to knock a bunch of guys out (or kill them)/someone to hide behind while you do more covert work.

In terms of specific skills, he's an extremely powerful combatant who uses both magic and a giant sword to fight. As a death knight, most of his magic is gruesome--boiling blood, spreading disease, melting flesh/armor, draining life-force (also via blood), long-range force chokes, and the like. But it's also pretty effective!

Lancer lives in Wyver and all his rep is there, but the Olympia quests are more up my alley (and his) this month, and I've been wanting him to visit Olympia anyway before it becomes impossible to do so without consequences. He's never been! So I'm especially looking at A Blessed Entourage and Preaching in a Material World as things he'd be suited for and interested in, and would love groups to thread them out with!

I'm not sure how much plotting we need to do for gem-hunting other than our characters meeting up at the location(s) and engaging in antics. For anyone interested in some beast-hunting at the cave location, Lancer's all about that and I'm up for playing it! But he's more likely to visit the lake location since it's near Wyver, and we can plot out whatever wacky magical properties these lakes have and how they might affect our characters when they meet up there. (If these lakes already have specific, canon magical properties that can't be changed, I missed what they were when I read, but it's probably still something I'm up for playing with!)

As for entourage antics I am definitely interested in finding a group to do that with, and Lancer would be interested in the job. He's not likely to go easy on a traitor, so get ready for some swift and vicious justice, or a conflict if your character isn't the swift and vicious justice type. I'm up for either and anything else that comes up!

as it just so happens, Garrus is definitely both interested in protecting others, and is the swift and vicious justice type. i'd like him to do one quest this month, and this is definitely up my alley!

HIGH FIVE. If there's one thing Lancer doesn't react to well, it's betrayal, so he is ready to get swift and violent with any would-be assassins. Sounds like a good time for these two.

William's not super interested in quests that require any combat, though he has a good arsenal of offensive spells at his disposal. He's in Olympia right now, though he really doesn't have any rep there.

He's gonna be sure doing Preaching in a material world and could use someone to help him with treasure hunting. He's smart and greedy okay. That's got to be good for something.

I'm also willing for him to be dragged along on other quests though. It's easy to make him do things he doesn't care to if there's enough money involved or if you're just very convincing.

i just have mikazuki here and i'm looking to do a couple quests with him!

because of a canonmate's involvement as a fugitive in olympia, mikazuki will mostly be sticking to the quests offered by cree, but i'd love to do some exploration and cr building with the preaching in a material world prompt. honestly he loves $$, so with the lakes being close to wyver he could be convinced to help out. edrathe was also one of his favorite places in olympia, so he'd go back to crystal hunt. this can be combined with mount hijinks or other flora/fauna!

for the gilded cage quests, his most suited is strong armory, with an emphasis on intercepting weapons from the sharper. i'd also be up for something with disturbing the dead! his skillset is mostly combat - he's pretty resourceful, extremely tough and efficient at killing things, and has inhuman strength and stamina. his stealth is definitely poor though, so he'd do well being teamed up with strategists who can employ him. (or you know, if you want a bludgeoning spree, other fighters work 👀) for the latter quest, he has very heightened instincts but no spirituality, so if you have a character susceptible to spirits he'd be a good grounding force.

honestly someone could also do the bakery quest and try to stop him from eating an LSD brownie too, i'm not picky

Diana is interested in the A Blessed Entourage quest, and would look for a couple of fighters she knows she could trust to get the job done. Bonus points if you are an amazonette she has been training, because she would probably mention the work and suggest they do it together. However, if you are a member of the guard and/or someone she knows to be a skilled fighter, she could def ask for a hand.

As for Peter, he is a potential insider at the Institute for Blinded With Science. He'd be willing to help out one or two people look around with the guise of them being there to help him with blood draws or something similar so they can poke around. He doesn't trust Evras much these days, alas, which is sad bc he had a science crush on him to start... rip never meet your idols.

Looking for anyone seeking a ranged support fighter in Mai for any of the Gilded Cage quests.

I'm partial to Disturbing the Dead and would definitely love to give that one a go. I'm also up for Blinded With Science as well as Strong Armory and The Kids Are Really Not Alright.

As for Mai's skills - she's a terrific marksman, whether it's with a knife or with something else. She's also decently acrobatic and somewhat okay at subterfuge. Just don't ask her to pretend to be a pleasant ray of sunshine, she's not really good at that.

hello! if you haven't already found a group yet, i'd be interested in doing the blinded by science quest! yoruichi's not super science-y (but has friends who are and would be interested on their behalf) but she's good with stealth and poking around. she's got an alternate cat form she usually uses to sneak around places, if mai doesn't mind a talking animal companion.
