This post is for submissions regarding those who signed up for plot roles in March 2018's kidnapping event!

In order to receive special commendation from the cities and be recognized as heroes, characters who participated as hostages or rescuers for the event must submit a summary of their participation here by 11:59 PM EST, March 24th, as well as a thread in progress. Details such as acts of extreme violence, altering the setting, etc., will be considered for progression of the metaplot.

EXAMPLE:
Character name and role: Evras, a hostage
Thread(s): Ashti rescuing him from the brink of death
Summary of event participation: Evras was kidnapped at gunpoint while transporting samples from the Institute to the Palace, and he offered no resistance after being knocked out with chloroform. He woke up in a dark, unknown place, and was subject to interrogation and brutal beatings. Before he divulged any classified information, he was rescued from the brink of death by Ashti, who killed two of the extremists on her way out.

Character name and role: Dylas, Hostage (Group 2)

Summary of event participation: Dylas was interrogated and often snapped out at any refugees who got close to him while also being disoriented. He tried to calm down Atsushi in particular, but it doesn't go well. During the rescue event, he was hypnotized into attacking the rescuers before being shot in the back which leads to Reign finding him dying.

Character name and role: Slaine Troyard - Rescuer (Group 2)

Summary of event participation:

Slaine had a bad time. He decided to go on a crazy rescue mission to try and find Yona, since she'd been kidnapped. Of course he didn't find her, since she wasn't in his group to find, but he did his best. Unfortunately his rescue group went the wrong way at first and by the time they arrived to find their hostages, things had gone pretty south. Slaine shot a bunch of kidnappers; he managed to rescue Atsushi, who had done a number on his arm via self mutilation, and also helped rescue You, even though he kind of traumatized her by shooting her captor. Slaine also almost shot himself from the influence of the kidnappers, got himself shaken up by Reign, and Mephisto ended up getting himself shot protecting Slaine and dying in the process. Rip.

Character name and role: Genjo Sanzo, Rescuer (Group 5)
Thread(s): Top Level for Rescue Operation!
Summary of event participation: Not much going on yet. But in his top levels, he was the one who accidentally insinuated to the group to check out the mazes, causing them to lag a bit behind in their finding of the victims. To compensate he used his experience of the area as well as his survival abilities to try and lead the others on the search. He then was one of those who noticed the small signs of activity within the caves during the search, ultimately breaking past the shaman's illusions. Though not saving any one person, in particular, he did aid in getting the group back down to the Altar of Vokkra to save those who were still alive. Upon returning to Wyver with the victims he helped aid in caring after them and making sure they recovered. His one thread so far is focused on looking after Isabella.

Character name and role: Wanda Maximoff, rescuer in Group 2
Thread(s): Searching with John, rescuing You, trying and failing to save Peter (cw: blood, death), taking care of Emma, waking Steve up

Summary of event participation: Wanda set out with the rest of her group to try to find whatever missing people they could. They made a wrong stop at the Temple, but when they were redirected to the Sanctuary, Wanda found herself mostly on damage control. Unfortunately, John missed and fatally shot Peter while she was trying to help him, and despite their combined efforts, Peter succumbed to his injuries. Wanda helped take care of Emma in the immediate aftermath, and once she learned of Steve's rescue, eventually lost her patience waiting for him to wake up the normal way and used her powers to bring him back.

No extreme violence here - Wanda won't be killing anyone.

Character name and role: Revolver Ocelot (Hostage, Group 2)

Summary of event participation: A member of the royal guard and sometime "associate" of both Cree and Voss, Ocelot was kidnapped by an extremist faction. Though more resistant to hypnosis than some of his fellow captors, he still suffered some detrimental impacts to his psyche, including an unwillingness to cooperate with his rescuers (Steve Trevor in particular). But still, he seems to have recovered pretty well, but he was more impacted by his ordeal than he'd really like to admit.

Once free, he was eager to return to his duties with royal guard, with an increased zeal for hunting down the remainder of the extremist faction. Is it because of his loyalty to Ashti and Olympia? Or does he have a longer game at play?

Character name and role: Prompto Argentum, Rescuer (Group 5)

Summary of event participation: Unflinchingly dedicated to getting the hostages to safety, Prompto aided the rescue effort of group 5, including following tracks to the hidden cave, fighting against the rogue shamans (and sustaining a nasty shoulder wound in the process), and extracting the hostages from danger, even if it meant carrying them on his back. Prompto specifically helped rescue Alphinaud, Riku and Dutch in his group, and he wouldn't leave the area until each person was out. Though normally one to avoid killing if at all possible, Prompto had no qualms about taking out the shamans if it meant securing the hostages.

Character name and role: Sandra the Unseeing (Hostage Group 2)

Summary of event participation: Sandra was stolen (yet again) and tossed into the Sanctuary with the rest of the hostages, where she was brainwashed along with the rest of them. Helpless to escape, she was eventually tossed (literally) into the fray, where she decked Dirk Gently and probably got thrown around in combat a lot. Eventually a hypnotized Cam Buckland scoops her off the ground and makes his escape, though Akira Kurusu intervenes and snaps the both of them out of their haze.

Character name and role: Dorian Pavus, Rescuer (Group 3)
Thread(s): Toplevel for rescue operation
Summary of event participation: Dorian signed up for the search immediately upon finding that most of his close CR had been taken. He had a few arguments with his CR upon finding they arrived in the wrong place, which subsequently lead to him taking his anger out on the captors. After the majority of them are taken care of, he fails to save Percival, rescues Miles Edgeworth, and attempts to calm other hostages until they're taken to the Sanctuary.
